Artificial Intelligence Seminar
On 20 July 2026, I attended an AI seminar at the Nuri Demirağ Conference Hall. Large language models (LLMs), AI agents, chatbots and AI development infrastructure were among the subjects covered. The EVREN Platform was also discussed during this visit.
EVREN Platform
SAYZEK announcements from June 2026 describe EVREN as an end-to-end environment for developing artificial intelligence systems. Institutional notices issued in June 2026 by Istanbul Technical University and Ankara University identify it as an MLOps platform. They describe a shared infrastructure for data preparation, labelling, model training, testing, publishing and operational use [1, 2].
Data and Model Lifecycle
Public descriptions of EVREN cover the development workflow from preparing and labelling datasets to training, testing and publishing models. These steps can be conducted through a shared platform, giving users access to data preparation and computing resources within the same environment. The university announcements describe its availability to academics, researchers and students [1, 2].
The public platform descriptions also mention high-performance GPU resources and a contribution-based credit scheme. Users may earn credits through contributions such as uploading or labelling datasets and use those credits to access compute resources for model development [1, 2].
