Muhammet Ali Köker (/) was born in Çay, Afyonkarahisar, in 1993. His interest in computers led him to develop and publish software (/en/projects). His work was featured by different sources as editors’ selections and example projects.
After completing his secondary education at Afyonkarahisar Anatolian Teacher High School (/en/afyonkarahisar-anatolian-teacher-high-school), he graduated with high grade averages from Kırıkkale University’s Computer Engineering bachelor’s program (/en/kirikkale-university-computer-engineering), Sakarya University’s Mechatronics associate-degree program (/en/sakarya-university-mechatronics), Istanbul University’s Business Administration bachelor’s program (/en/istanbul-university-business-administration), Afyon Kocatepe University’s Mechatronics Engineering bachelor’s program (/en/afyon-kocatepe-university-mechatronics-engineering), Gazi University’s Digital Forensics master’s program (/en/gazi-university-digital-forensics), and Marmara University’s Cybersecurity master’s program (/en/marmara-university-cybersecurity).
Throughout his education, he produced projects (/en/projects) in computer software, embedded software, unmanned systems and robotics. He attended certified training (/en/certified-training) and seminars (/en/activities-and-communities) in these fields. He wrote the academic book chapters “Internet of Things and Digital Forensics” (/en/internet-of-things-from-theory-to-practice-book-chapter) and “Image and Audio Processing with Artificial Intelligence” (/en/artificial-intelligence-from-theory-to-practice-book-chapter).
He worked as an engineering intern in the software unit of Afyon Kocatepe University’s IT Department (/en/afyon-kocatepe-university-it-internship), where he produced projects involving card-based access systems, data communication and graphical-interface software.
He also worked as an engineering intern in Baykar’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle software unit (/en/baykar-uav-software-internship). Within the Bayraktar TB2 UAV project, he developed software related to data communication, telemetry, static code analysis, defense-industry standardization and graphical interfaces. He implemented a graphical viewer that displayed UAV data on multi-axis line charts and a static-analysis application that checked project source code against international standards. He also contributed to embedded-software projects involving communication in avionics systems.
At Akınsoft and Akın Robotics (/en/akinsoft-akin-robotics), he worked as a lead computer engineer in the Control Software Manager role. His work included robotic-system control software (AROS AR-CONTROL), autonomy software (AR-CORE), graphical-interface software (AR-GUI), behavior modeling, the design of tree- and circuit-based visual programming languages, an HMM-based automatic speech-recognition system, text-to-speech, image processing and telemetry.
He works at the Ministry of Interior (/en/ministry-of-interior-digital-forensics-software-engineer) as a digital-forensics software engineer and at Argus (/en/argus-machine-learning-project-engineer) as a project engineer. His software work covers digital forensics, artificial intelligence, big data, signal processing, audio processing, speech recognition, image processing, face recognition, reverse engineering, cryptology, cybersecurity and inter-agency data communication.
