Cisco CCNA 3 — Introducing Routing and Switching in the Enterprise
In Cisco CCNA 3, I studied enterprise routing and switching, ACL-based traffic filtering, WAN links, addressing and troubleshooting.
Cisco CCNA 3 shifted my focus to enterprise-network infrastructure. I studied routing and switching together with ACL-based traffic filtering, enterprise addressing, WAN connectivity and troubleshooting as parts of the same operational network.
The syllabus included:
- Filtering Traffic with ACLs
- Routing with Link-State Protocols
- Addressing in an Enterprise Network
- Switching in an Enterprise Network
- Examining Enterprise-Network Infrastructure
- Enterprise-Network Communication
- Troubleshooting an Enterprise Network
- Implementing Enterprise WAN Links
- Routing with Distance-Vector Protocols
This course was an important step in understanding how routing strategies, switching and network policy fit together inside an enterprise topology.
