Cisco CCNA 2 — Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP

In Cisco CCNA 2, I studied addressing, network-device configuration, routing, upgrade planning and troubleshooting in small-to-medium business and ISP environments.

Cisco CCNA 2 moved my networking studies from basic connectivity to small-to-medium business and ISP environments. I worked through addressing structures, device configuration, routing and network-upgrade planning together with help-desk and troubleshooting responsibilities.

The course covered:

  • Understanding Addressing Structures
  • Configuring Network Devices
  • Planning a Network Upgrade
  • The Internet and Its Uses
  • Troubleshooting
  • ISP Services
  • ISP Responsibilities
  • Help Desk
  • Routing

This stage helped me view a network as an operated service infrastructure whose changes, faults and capacity have to be managed rather than as a collection of connected endpoints.
