Voting Disk
Oracle Clusterware quorum storage used to determine cluster membership and prevent unsafe concurrent ownership during failures.
Technical Context
Loss of quorum is a safety event, not merely an availability event. Clusterware may evict a node to preserve consistency. Voting-disk design therefore belongs to fencing and split-brain prevention rather than ordinary application data storage.
