Hardware and Mechatronics Projects

Electronics, hardware, mechatronics, robotics and embedded-software projects.

In hardware and mechatronics projects, software output becomes physical behavior rather than only a screen result. Timing, I/O, sensor and actuator behavior, electrical interfaces and failure states therefore become part of the application model.

The RFID Access-Control System combines card input, serial data, UID handling, authorization and servo control. The Remote-Controlled Access System addresses IR input and actuator behavior in a smaller control problem. The Fuzzy-Control Agricultural Irrigation System is a separate mechatronics example in which sensor inputs affect a continuous physical process.

The broader theoretical context is connected through Mechatronic Systems and Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, FPGA and PLC.

Remote-Controlled Access System

An Arduino/IR/servo access-control prototype later extended with desktop serial control and physical-state feedback.

RFID Access-Control System

My 2014 RFID access-control project connects serial reader data, UID processing, authorization, Arduino and a servo actuator in one end-to-end hardware/software path.
